Airport Girona

Girona is the best located airport from Tamariu, only 40 km away.
This airport is served almost exclusively by Ryanair.

Transfer to / from Girona Airport:

a) Rental car (best to book right away with the flight, or e.g. billiger-mietwagen.de)

b) Taxi (e.g. with Taxis Costa Brava, Solhop or Masca Motor)

c) Bus to Palafrugell: Girona-Airport-Info, Girona-Tourist-Guide

Airport Barcelona / El Prat

Barcelona is an international airport and is served by many airlines. The distance from Tamariu is about 120 km. A good overview of the flights on offer is usually provided by a search engine like swoodo.com

Arrival by plane - transfer and mobility

Of course there are taxis and public transport, but we advise all air travellers to rent a car. This way you can reach any destination comfortably and you can also spontaneously visit one of the many attractions in the area.
The cheapest way to book a rental car is in connection with the flight.

Almost all navigation devices guide you from Palafrugell to Tamariu via an unpaved gravel road (Cami Vell de Tamariu). Please follow the signs in Palafrugell or enter Carrer de Bruguerol in your navigation system!
